Maggie speaks with Marilu Henner

11:15AM (PST) – Maggie Kneip, author of “Now Everyone Will Know: The Perfect Husband, His Shattering Secret, My Rediscovered Life”

Maggie Kneip is a veteran of the publishing industry, with a career spanning twenty years as a publicity and marketing executive at Bertelsmann, Scholastic Inc., and Abrams Books. Known for her innovative marketing plans and spectacular events, Maggie regularly amplified stories by, about, and for women throughout her career. She won the 2002 Scholastic Exceptional Marketing Award for an annual reading initiative she created called “Read for 2000”: classrooms all over the world read at the same time for 2000 seconds (33.3 minutes).

Maggie also appeared on NBC’s Today in 2008 with author Gail Sheehy and psychologist Dr. Dale Atkins in a segment addressing the importance of women pursuing deferred goals. When not championing women, working at a non-profit, writing, running, and slipping in a dance class, Maggie can be found performing as a singer at Manhattan clubs like the Laurie Beechman Theater and the Metropolitan Room.

Maggie graduated with degrees in English and theater from the College of William and Mary, and received a master of fine arts in dance from Sarah Lawrence College. She lives in Westport, Connecticut, and has two grown children.
